Planner Review #4: TF Publishing Weekly Planner

Hello and welcome back!

Today’s planner is from TF Publishing, a more lowkey brand. TF Publishing mainly works through partnerships (I got this planner through FabFitFun) and sticks to fun patterns and simply layouts. They offer a variety of layouts, but generally stick to a weekly planner set on an Academic schedule.

The cover of the Weekly Planner, which is lemon printed.

One aspect of the TF Publishing Weekly Planners that is different than typical weekly planners is it’s large size — this planner, for example, is 9” by 11” — which can be helpful for those with large handwriting, but does not make the planner the easiest to travel with.

This planner is dated and split into three sections: monthly planning/goals, weekly planning, and notes. The monthly planning pages are all at the front of the planner — it isn’t formatted the typical way of having each monthly spread followed by its respective weekly pages. Each monthly spread includes your typical calendar, with a section for monthly goal planning, including a highlights section and a top tasks list.

After all of the monthly pages, we get to the weekly planning pages. Each week is given a two-page spread with a vertical layout. What stands out about this vertical layout is the checkbox list at the bottom of each column — granting some formatting to a rather minimalist, albeit colorful, planner. Each weekly spread also includes a habit tracker and a section for weekly goals, although that goal section is really just the blank space at the top of the page. At the end of the planner are about 20 pages of lined pages for notes.

As I’ve said before, weekly planners are not my jam…but I couldn’t turn down a lemon-printed planner! And the little extras like habit trackers and the checklist at the bottom of each day are a nice touch that make this planner stand out a bit. Additionally, due to it’s large size, I never ran out of room when using this planner — I could schedule my entire week by hour and still fit everything.

I ended up only using this planner for a couple of weeks where I really needed to keep track of the day/date, which is harder to do in an undated planner, but there isn’t necessarily anything wrong with this planner. It is affordable, large, and comes in various cute patterns.

Who I think this planner would be good for:

  • Regular planners who don’t take themselves too seriously

  • Folks who like big picture goal planning

  • People who enjoy the extra writing room this planner provides

~ Planner Vibes ~
