Planner Review #3: ban.do To-Do Planner

Hello and welcome back!

Today’s planner is from ban.do, one of my all-time fav lifestyle brands. Although I’ve always been a stationary-collecting fiend, I do blame ban.do for getting me hooked on beautiful planners like this Strawberry Fields pattern.

ban.do is known for their weekly planners featuring multiple designs and themes by women artists, but this planner features their new-ish daily layout, which comes in only four designs.

This planner is undated, with daily to-do planning pages. The pages feature a very long to-do list and a schedule column which includes spots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Towards the back of the planner there are to-do list and shopping list pages. These pages are perforated down the middle, so you can easily (and cleanly) rip out any lists you need on the go. Additionally, all pages in this planner are perforated.

Daily planners are generally my favorite, which is why I bought this over ban.do’s typical horizontal weekly planners. I appreciated how ban.do put their own spin on it by including the to-do list and shopping list pages in the back — arguably those are more useful than the daily planner pages. Additionally, adding meals to the schedule column serves as a good reminder that, no matter how busy the day is, we need to remember to stop and take care of ourselves!

That being said, I was personally a little disappointed with this planner. It’s exactly what they said it was, yet I was expecting a little bit more of the brand’s signature style weaved into this planner. I would love to see a dated version of this planner, with fun holidays or new quotes added to each page.

Who I think this planner would be good for:

  • Those who add everything to their to-do list

  • Folks who could benefit from reminders to step away from their desk and eat

  • Someone who is always adding to their grocery lists

~ Planner Vibes ~

  • prefers physical paper lists

  • bright, eclectic interior decorating

  • fruit-patterned everything

  • unconventional flower vases
